  • Expensive despite being the second cheapest in Airgle lineup.
  • Again expensive to maintain due to the costly annual filter replacement.
  • Not the best in price VS performance when it comes to CADR and purifying coverage.

Airgle AG600 dimension
15 x 20 x 16 in
(38.1 x 50.8 x 40.6 cm)
Airgle AG600 weight
35.3 lb (16 kg)

Like the previous version of Airgle air purifier, Airgle AG600 has the exact exterior design, same premium aluminum housing and of course 100% pressure-sealed technology. Build quality is also as expected flawless with no air bypass due to the rigorous checking on Airgle end. One thing Airgle AG600 has a slight advantage over AG800/ AG900 is its overall 15 x 20 x 16 in (38.1 x 50.8 x 40.6 cm) dimension and 35.3 lb (16 kg) weight, though do not expect the reduced size to be extremely portable as you would still need to rely on the casters to glide around the air purifier. On to control and usability, Airgle AG600 comes with the standard dial knob that allows you to control the fan speed plus dedicated buttons for Auto mode, timer, filter reset and IR (for remote control). Next to the control is an informative LCD panel that might feel overwhelming at first glance, its actually pretty straightforward to use as every status is display in bar form including air quality monitor, filter lifespan and System control setting. System control setting is a unique feature in Airgle that changes the air purifier characteristic to suit a badly polluted environment. In most scenario, we recommend best to leave it on the default setting. Other notable features found in the air purifier includes a 4-stage filtration with 5 fan speed, Auto/ Sleep (Night) mode, Ultra-quiet motor technology, remote control (Power, Mode, Speed, Timer), variable timer (1 – 12 hours), auto safety shut-off, ozone-free, AHAM Certified, ENERGY STAR Rated, CARB Approved, ETL Listed and 5 years warranty.

Airgle AG600 airflow speed
Airflow speed
42-219 cfm (71-372 m3/h)
Airgle AG600 fanspeed
Being the smaller air purifier in Airgle lineup, Airgle AG600 airflow delivery rate is weaker but not to a mediocre extend. The 5 fan speed falls between 42-219 cfm output the delivers a moderate 296 sq. ft. purifying coverage. Best suited for the bedroom, you could even use Airgle AG600 in the living room although the efficiency rate is definitely not there. Again Auto mode is available for optimum performance and cost-efficient.

Pollen CADR
191 cfm (324 m3/h)
Airgle AG600 smoke CADR
Smoke CADR
191 cfm (324 m3/h)
Airgle AG600 AHAM certified CADR is also not at the most ideal point (below 200 cfm) as with the airflow performance. The Dust-free CADR stands at 197 cfm while Pollen and Smoke CADR stand at 191 cfm. Airgle AG900 offers twice as much in terms of CADR which you could compare via the table comparison above.

^ Airgle AG600 filters/ technologies/ lifespan
If you are familiar with AG900 setup, Airgle AG600 should feel right at home. The 4-stage filtration system would start by drawing air via the rear Pre-filter grill while filtering out large particles mostly hair and dust. Subsequently a 3.5 lbs enhanced special blend carbon the captures chemicals, cooking odors and other similar gases form particles. This is continued by a smaller but similarly powerful 25 sq ft cHEPAfast Filter that traps allergens 5-10 times more effective than typical HEPA technology. Lastly, any germs, bacteria or viruses as small as 0.01 microns that manage to bypass all the filters would be eliminated by Airgle own patented Titanium Pro PCO system (titanium dioxide catalyst + germicidal UV lamp). With all airborne contaminants taken care of, Airgle AG600 would safely release the purified air via the front grill and repeat the same process again and again.

Airgle AG600 4-stage filtration is vastly efficient when pit against large and tiny pollutants, allergens, irritants, viruses and bacteria. Powered by immense airflow input/ output and wide purifying coverage, Airgle AG600 combined filtration is terrific in eliminating dust, hair, pet hair, pet dander, dust mites, pollen, mold and mildew.  On handling smokes and odors, Airgle AG600 is also terrific against chemicals, odors, cooking smell, fire, VOCs, tobacco smokes, cigarette, vapor, radon and ammonia.

Airgle AG600 power consumption
Power consumption
34 - 176 W
Airgle AG600 33 - 55 dBA noise level is a mix bag. At lowest speed is far from silent despite the inclusion of Ultra-quiet motor technology but at high speed its audible but certainly not the loudest either. Usable in nighttime but not as a beside air purifier. Power consumption wise is lower than AG900 but the 34 - 176 W is still considerably high in our book. For best result always operate Airgle AG600 in Auto mode and leave the air purifier in standby mode (0.5-watt power) when not in use.

Annual Filter Cost

^ Replacement filters/ estimated cost
Airgle AG600 is at the lower tier of Airgle lineup so naturally, it would have a cheaper price point. Is it low enough for the mass audience, NO as you can clearly see in the RSP price above. The same scenario with the filter replacement cost as the lower price point still does not contribute to Airgle AG600 low annual maintenance fee. If Airgle brand is a must and you do not mind the reduce purifying coverage, the amount you would save is definitely more than enough justification for the premium features.

Airgle AG600 VS the challengers

Airgle AG500

Airgle AG500

An identical model with a cheaper price tag and higher 38 sq. ft. HEPA filter. You have to do without the Titanium Pro Plug and Play system and smaller sq. ft. carbon filter.

Alen BreatheSmart FIT50

Slightly different setup as it uses Ionizer instead of PCO system, what you do get in return is wider purifying coverage, higher CADR, and interchangeable front panel. Its downside is the plasticity build and filter upgrade is a necessity for advanced gases/ odors filtration.

More on Airgle PurePal AG600

Airgle PurePal AG600 is designed in New York and put together in China like most manufacturer in the world. Build quality is high at the top especially with the sealed-proof aluminum housing. By way of example, user can continue using the air purifier routinely without having to worry it would break down in long-run.

Airflow capability and purifying coverage

The part that defines Airgle PurePal AG600 category. Among the few short air purifiers that are capable to cover average-sized space area and above, Airgle PurePal AG600 airflow purifying applicable radius is at a medium-tier level. In other words, Airgle PurePal AG600 is most suitable for bedroom or moderate room size. Carrying on with the purifying effectiveness, Airgle PurePal AG600 filtration setup will efficiently dispose of nearby air-borne pollutants and irritants. Any sort of air pollutants and substances e.g. mold, mildew, fungus, pollen, and pet dander would be captured by the air purifier and impede the microorganisms from further distributing.

Maintenance and care

No difficulty with the upkeeping of Airgle PurePal AG600 due to its properly-shaped exterior and tough aluminum housing. For most ideal purifying, delicately sweep and clean the air-ventilation area to hinder dust and airborne contaminants from impeding the airflow circulation.

Noise level and power consumption

Equipped with Ultra-quiet motor technology, Airgle PurePal AG600 noise level is moderate although that would still based upon the present fan speed. Moderately silent at minimum fanspeed while noise level is reasonable high at maximum fanspeed. In comparison with other common home appliances, Airgle PurePal AG600 all round noise level is marginally louder. Second of all, Airgle PurePal AG600 is an admirable full-range air purifier that is sadly not as cost-effective despite the ENERGY STAR tag. Again electricity usage is moderate to high based on the current fanspeed mode its running. By comparison with other home appliances electricity usage, Airgle PurePal AG600 monthly electricity consumption is on the high side.
