From the first glance the Blueair Classic 650E might look huge in size but in fact it is the exact same size as the Blueair 503 and 603 models. Far from portable, there are 4 casters support to ease the movement. Blueair Classic 650E also shares the same award winning design elements as other Blueair’s air purifier so expect everything to be the same from the build quality, touch and feel of the unit, durable steel materials, filter size and placement. What’s new with Blueair Classic 650E is the inclusion of a smokestop filter, a built-in air quality sensor to monitor the surrounding air quality, remote control that has multiple functions and a blue digital screen for better readability. Other notable features include Energy Star rated and certified to be ozone free by U.S. department.

Applicable area, airflow, noise level and power input

As powerful as it seems, made no mistake Blueair Classic 650E digital hepasilent air purifier is still a consumer based air purifier. It is designed for large room area and has a purifying range of 65 m2 (700 ft2); almost 3 times more coverage than most entry-level air purifier. Even without a pre-filter to separate out the first layer of particles, Blueair CADR has one of the strongest (about 450 cfm) in the market. With the given airflow strength, the noise level is still surprisingly quiet enough at low speed setting, from 32 dB to 66 dB maximum. The good thing about Blueair Classic 650E is the unit will enters sleep mode after running on a certain period of time, thus reducing the electricity usage which brings us to the final figures; Power consumption is between 35 W to 120 W depending on the airflow speed and operating hours.

Final thoughts on Blueair Classic 650E

The Blueair Classic 650E is a high effective, strong air purifier that has the combine raw power of few other air purifiers. It is also not as gigantic or loud as many other has stated however, it is still fairly bulky. With the inclusion of air quality sensor and digital screen control; this is by far the most powerful, most effortless Blueair air purifier has to offer. Still, if you do not have a large enough room, I would still recommend you to go with the slightly smaller coverage Blueair 503.
