Pros
- Higher variant. Full-depth 6-stage filtration with improved performance and coverage.
- Low filter replacement cost (under 100).
- Beautiful square design with mood light bar.
- Wall-mountable with plenty of customized front panel design (optional purchase).
- Effective First line filtration (Pre-filter, Medium, and HEPA filter).
- 4 Customizable filter options, AC carbon filter, and Negative Ion Generator.
- 5 fan speed with Auto/ Pollen/ Sleep mode.
- Separate Particle, odor, and light sensor with adjustable sensitivity.
- Sensitive Sleep mode that automatically adjusts the speed when light is out.
- Five-year warranty.
Cons
- All the added features pushed the price up to the premium category.
- There are alternate options for the price if you only need an air performance pack.
- Far from light despite being a wall-mountable unit with a back wall bracket.
Design - One of the most customizable air purifiers we have ever encountered. Rabbit Air MinusA2 is the only wall mountable 6-stage HEPA air purifier currently on the market. Coming at a 21.4 x 20 x 7 inches dimension and a 19.4 pounds weight. It is on the heavier side but not a big deal when hanging high on the wall. The clean front design with side air inlets is subtle yet blends well as part of the home decor. You can customize the removable panel further with exciting designs such as Snoopy, Gustav Klimpt, Katsushika Hokusai, and Paul Frank. Smack in the middle, there is a mesmerizing mood light bar that changes from blue, purple, light purple, to pink. Do not confuse it with an air quality indicator, though.

Functionality - Rabbit air is easy to use and designed to run 24x7 without fail. To start, press and hold the power button for 2 seconds and repeat to shut it down. From there, you can cycle the 5 speeds between silent, low, medium, high, or turbo. Alternatively, choose between auto and pollen modes that automatically adjust the fan speeds based on the surrounding air quality. Most people will just set it on auto mode as it works very well without giving the attention needed. The replace filters indicator helps remind you to replace the filter when it is time to do so. Press and hold the reset button once the new filter has been installed. Other features include adjustable sensitive sensors, an optional mood light, and a negative ion generator that can be disabled via the mood light button. Above all, the remote control is the perfect icing to the cake that adds convenience adjustment without you reaching out to the mounted MinusA2 air purifier.
Overall, Rabbit Air MinusA2 is very well-made with tight finishing. It is also ozone-free, childproof safety, and comes with an industry-leading 5 years warranty that protects you from any manufacturing defects. Testament to that, our own Rabbit Air units in the studio have been running for 5 years continuously without any signs of slowing down. Great stuff.

Coverage - Delivering an airflow output of 58-218 cfm, Rabbit Air MinusA2 SPA-780A is engineered to cover 815 square footage of room space at 2 air changes per hour or every 30 minutes. For an asthmatic person that needs constant clean air, you can increase the air change to 4 for a reduced 408 square footage. While there are other prolific air purifiers like Austin Air, IQAir that can cater to a bigger room, there will be no shortage of places you can hang a Rabbit Air MinusA2 SPA-780A air purifier. It is suited for large room sizes like the master bedroom, living hall, kitchen, basement, garage, office, or nursery room. The CADR dust is at 193 cfm, pollen at 200 cfm, and smoke at 180 cfm. Not the greatest, but it's sufficient for home use.
Filtration - Here's where Rabbit Air's renowned 6-stage filtration captures the finest airborne particles that others can't. The internal motor will draw PM10 particles like dust, hair, and dirt to the pre-filter for the first round of filtration. The medium filter captures smaller particles that pass through the pre-filter while protecting the HEPA filter. The BioGS HEPA filter will focus on capturing 99.97% of airborne particles as small as 0.3 microns, including pet dander, mold, mildew, and germs. Next, the activated carbon filter absorbs mild smoke and odors from a household. For stronger toxic fumes, you can choose 1 of the 4 customizable filters ranging from Germ Defense Filter, Pet Allergy Filter, Toxin Absorber Filter, and Odor Remover Filter. Our preference will be Pet Allergy Filter since we have indoor pets, but either of the filters will help remove the unwanted contaminants. Lastly, the Negative Ion Generator electrically discharges millions of negative ions that bond with positive ion pollutants in the air. The merged ions will fall from the increased weight, and the air purifier filtration will pick up from there. As there are insignificant ozone byproducts emitted during ionization, you can disable it you prefer a complete ozone-free purification.
Noise and power - Rabbit Air MinusA2 is the touted Ultra Quiet Air Purifier for a good reason. Thanks to the brushless direct current motor, the noise level is only at a silent 25.6 decibels to a max of 51.3 decibels. That's close to a library environment when MinusA2 is hanging high on the wall. Best of all, sleep mode activates automatically when the room turns dark. It will lock the fan speed to the lowest and dim the mood light. The perfect air-cleaning companion to relax after a day's hard work. As an Energy Star certified model, power usage is between 7-61 watts depending on the fan speed. For all-day operation, we recommend you leave it in auto mode to enjoy optimized energy management, guaranteed.

Pricing - At around $100 more, Rabbit Air MinusA2 SPA-780A is the better version of SPA-700A that is just shy under 600. For starters, you get all the features plus bump-up performance with no added weight. If you have purchased a designer panel for any MinusA2 models, it is also compatible here. Perhaps most importantly, there are practically no other 6-stage air purifiers in the market, apart from Rabbit Air Own A3. The max $80+ annual filter replacement cost is satisfactory based on the sheer number of filters. You will not have to break the bank just to maintain one.
Drawbacks - As expected, The biggest hurdle for MinusA2 is the premium pricing, close to $600 MSRP; you can get better CADR and coverage air purifiers for less without the 6-stage filtration. Other minor complaints include the weight and additional cost of the addon filters and customizable panels. Both are easily neglectable by most people.
Overall, Rabbit Air MinusA2 clearly outweighs the downsides. If money is no issue, Rabbit Air MinusA2 SPA-780A is one beautifully made air purifier with the perfect 6-stage air filtration system and smart features. It would be a surefire air purifier if you could discount the expensive price tag. A worthy investment for your health.

Pros
- Comprehensive 6-stage filtration with a Medium, HEPA, and customized filter.
- Advanced personalized settings and easy pairing with most smartphones (Android/ iOS).
- Designers or classic art panels to choose from. Compatible with all MinusA2 air purifiers.
- Low annual filter replacement cost despite utilizing many high-quality filters.
- Wall mountable, unique square frame body with color-changing mood light bar.
- Many designers or classic art front panel designs to choose from. Compatible with all MinusA2 air purifiers.
- 5 speeds with Auto/ Pollen/ Sleep mode.
- Trio Particle, odor, and light sensor with adjustable sensitivity.
- Sleep mode activates automatically when there is no light source.
- Five-year warranty that fully covers any manufacturer's defects.
Cons
- Over $600 MRSP starting price, excluding any designer front panel or add-on filter.
- Some fine-tuning is needed on the app UI e.g. bugs, limited scheduling options, and air quality over time.
- Dust, pollen, and smoke CADR are OK but not over-the-top figures. There are higher-performance air purifiers in this price range.
- Heavy for an air purifier designed to be mounted on the wall.
Design - Everybody has been rooting for a WiFi enabled MinusA2 and here it is. Introducing the 6-stage Rabbit Air MinusA2 SPA-780N Air Purifier. An enhanced version of the SPA-780A with WiFi support. Sharing the same platform size of 21.4 x 20 x 7 inches and 19.4 pounds, this wall-mounted air purifier has all the trades from its predecessor without the added weight. For those who prefer not to hang Rabbit Air MinusA2 SPA-780N on the wall, you can leave it on the ground without worrying it will wobble. You can swap the front panels between the models or use the same wall point without drilling another hole. The sturdy build quality is the replica of all MinusA2, including the materials used throughout the exterior. Expect no chemicals or off-gassing during the course of our usage.

Functionality - Rabbit Air MinusA2 SPA-780N uses a simple touch interface control that requires no prior knowledge of an air cleaner. Right off the bat, you can manage the 5 fan speeds, activate negative ions, auto/ pollen mode, and reset the filter change indicator. Every function is at a convenience click of a button, but most folks will leave it in Auto mode and let MinusA2 manage the speed based on room air quality. There is also a passive light sensor Sleep mode that activates automatically when the room turns dark for 3 minutes. The color-changing mood light bar changes from blue, purple, to pink, depending on the active mode. It is purely aesthetic and can be disabled when not needed. The actual air quality indicator is the small dot by the panel.
Unique to Rabbit Air MinusA2 SPA-780N variant is the WiFi-enabled access that replaces the remote control. It uses an app to control the air purifier and is available on both Apple and Android phones. Simply click the WiFi button, download the Rabbit Air app, and start pairing it with your phone. Upon successful pairing, you can use your phone to remotely control Rabbit Air SPA-780N air purifier, even when you're out of town. The intuitive app includes advanced features such as air quality log, shutdown timer, logs, real-time air quality, and a filter check. We find the app particularly useful for managing MinusA2 when the device is hanging on the wall. It even reminds you to order the filter replacement weeks prior to the filter date change. There is no limit to what the air purifier can do.

Coverage - Mirror to 780A, Rabbit Air MinusA2 SPA-780N air purifier covers a wide 815 square footage at 2 air changes per hour or every 30 minutes. Boost the air changes to 4; it can still cover large room sizes of 408 square footage. The consistent 58-218 cfm airflow delivery allows quick air cleaning in the living room, basement, garage, kitchen, bedroom, playroom, or lounge. Due to the high numbers of filtration, CADR is averaging 193 cfm for dust, 200 cfm for pollen, and 180 cfm for smoke. Decent for a wall air purifier, but there are more powerful units out here with higher CADR.
Filtration - Like its non-WiFi variant counterpart, MinusA2 SPA-780N is excellent against dust, allergen, smoke, and odors and works wonders for heavy smokers or people living with asthma. It uses a 6-stage filtration that removes every bit of indoor air pollutants you could think of. Starting with the pre-filter that blocks dust, hair, and other large particles from passing through while protecting the inner filter. Against finer particles, the medium filter captures them from proceeding down to 1 micron. The HEPA filter removes 99.97% of ultrafine particles as small as 0.3 microns, such as mold, pollen, pet dander, and microorganisms. Continue on; you have the option to choose 1 of the 4 customizable filters ranging from Germ Defense Filter (recommended), Pet Allergy Filter, Toxin Absorber Filter, to Odor Remover Filter. The activated carbon filter absorbs smoke, toxins, and odors that bypass the previous filters. Lastly, the optional negative ion generator diffuses invisible, odorless negative ions molecules that attach to nearby positive ions air pollutants to pull them down for Rabbit Air MinusA2 SPA-780N to capture. Ionization is a 100% safe technology that has been used in many other air purifiers. It will produce insignificant ozone byproducts, but not enough to negatively impact our health.
Noise and power - Like the non-WiFi variant, Rabbit Air MinusA2 SPA-780N is at a whisper quiet of 25.6 decibels to a mild, white noise of 51.3 decibels. Keep it in auto or sleep mode, and you can leave it on day and night with virtually no noise distraction. Perfect for night use when trying to get a good night's sleep. Power consumption is low too, starting from 7 watts to a max of 61 watts (turbo speed). You can further reduce energy usage by running it in Auto mode and turning off the mood light.
Pricing - Let's cut to the chase. Rabbit Air MinusA2 SPA-780N air purifier is the exact model of SPA-780A with additional WiFi-enabled features. It allows remote access via the Rabbit Air app at a meager $20 increase in selling price. However, it pushes Rabbit Air MinusA2 SPA-780N price above $600 before any discount, 3 times more than most hot-selling air purifiers on the market. While you are still getting a high-performance wall air purifier with a solid child-proof safety design and a 5-years warranty, not everyone can afford one. There are other additional costs to ponder, such as the addon designer panel purchase and addon filter upgrade. Speaking of filter replacement, Rabbit Air MinusA2 SPA-780N is on the lower side, costing under $100 annually despite having so many filters. It is no doubt a cost-effective operation for the long haul. If you can forego the enhanced WiFi feature, the cheaper SPA-780A might be better suited for you.

Drawbacks - As mentioned earlier, the selling price and slightly under par CADR are its major stumbling block. Otherwise, there is little fault you could find in Rabbit Air MinusA2. There are other smaller, cheaper, and more powerful air cleaners like Alen, Winix, Medify Air out there, but none offer the flexible wall-mountable design of the Rabbit Air MinusA2 purifier.
In short, Rabbit Air MinusA2 SPA-780N has improved the already perfect 6-stage air filtration system with a fan-favorite WiFi option. We only realized how convenient it was once we had used it. The Rabbit Air MinusA2 SPA-780N air purifier would be a sensible choice and a good investment for the longevity of your health.

Cons
- Expensive, with a starting price of 749.95 excluding add-ons.
- Heavy, making filter change a chore, especially when the air purifier is mounted to a wall.
- No remote control (replaced with Rabbit Air Smart App).
Design - Saving the best for last. If you want the best air purifier Rabbit Air has to offer, look no further than Rabbit Air A3. A Red Dot Design Award and IF Design Award winner with its timeless wall mount design. At only 18.9 inches in width, 19.7 inches in height, and 8.4 inches in depth, you can mount it to a wall high, so it is out of children's and pets' reach. Weight is on the heavier side, but thankfully you have a durable wall bracket that can withstand the weight. At the front, the minimalist panel hides all air inlets and outlets from eyesight. You can spice up the air purifier by swapping the panel with many optional designs from Katsushika Hokusai, Vincent van Gogh, Jan Davidsz. de Heem, to Peanuts characters. The add-on panels are not cheap, but they will last for a lifetime with given care.
Functionality - Rabbit Air A3 air purifier is simple to use though there is a bit of a learning curve on the WiFi pairing. You can cycle the 5 fan speeds (Silent, Low, Medium, High, Turbo) via the touch panel interface or choose Pollen/ Auto mode. Pollen mode is best used during the pollen season, and Auto mode helps manage the air purifier speed based on the number of airborne pollutants detected. There is also a hidden auto-sleep mode that activates when the room is pitch black for 3 minutes. In Sleep mode, the fan speed will be locked to low with the indicator lights all disabled. Also dependent on the sensors is the air quality indicator. The AQ LED light will illuminate blue when the room air quality is good, purple when moderate, and red when the air quality is unhealthy. Other compulsory features include the negative ion generator and filter reset via the mode button. Like BioGS, the filter indicator accurately predicts when you need to replace the filter. Just press and hold the filter reset button after you have successfully changed to a brand-new filter.
All N series of Rabbit Air comes with WiFi-enabled, so naturally, A3 SPA-1000N comes with one. All you have to do is turn on the WiFi mode, download the Rabbit Air app via Apple Store or Google Play Store, and sync it up. Once Rabbit Air A3 is successfully synchronized, you will have instant access to many remote functions, including fan speed adjustment, timer, real-time air quality checks, history logs, and so much more. It is equivalent to a remote control but with a modern touch. Every bit of the settings can be done in the comfort of your bed or while you're outside.
Pricey it may be, Rabbit Air A3 SPA-1000N build quality is at another level. With the industry-leading 5-year warranty, we have no doubt this air purifier will outlast even some of the most premium models out there. Rabbit Air A3 SPA-1000N is also AHAM certified, CARB approved, and ozone-safe under 0.005 ppm ozone emission as tested per UL 867.
Coverage - Here's where the top dollar goes to. Rabbit Air A3 SPA-1000N airflow delivery is mighty impressive at a max 286 cfm. Engineered for large room size, it can cover a comprehensive 1070 square footage at 2 air changes per hour or every 30 minutes. For those with sensitive lungs or little ones, you can increase to 4 air changes per hour, and Rabbit Air A3 can still cover an impressive 535 square footage of room size. Another superior spec is Rabbit Air A3 CADR receives bump-up performance too, at 262 cfm for dust, 315 cfm for pollen, and 257 cfm for smoke. Ideal for living room, master bedroom, kitchen, basement, garage, nursery home, and classroom.
Filtration - Like MinusA2, Rabbit Air A3 air purifier uses a 6-stage air cleaning filtration that can tackle all types of household allergens. Pre-filter captures large particles in the air, mainly dust and hair. The medium filter captures finer particles as small as 1 micron. The HEPA filter removes 99.97% of microscopic particles in the air as small as 0.3 microns, including mold, mildew, pollen, and pet dander. Next, you have 4 customizable filters ranging from Germ Defense Filter, Pet Allergy Filter, Toxin Absorber Filter, to Odor Remover Filter. Either one of the filter addon will work, so choose the one best suited to your needs. The granular activated carbon filter absorbs common smoke, odors, and VOCs that manage to bypass all. Lastly, the negative ion generator disperses millions of negative ions that will attach to positive ion airborne pollutants. The attached heavier pollutants will fall due to the increased weight, allowing the Rabbit Air A3 to capture them, leaving the air safer for everyone to breathe.
Noise and power - Engineered perfectly to clean the air as quietly as possible. Despite the increased air output, Rabbit Air A3 air purifier still generates a modest, whispering noise level of just 20.3 dBA to a soft white noise of 51 dBA. You can use it comfortably during work or sleep without worrying about noise disturbance. As an Energy Star rated model, power consumption is very efficient for its segment with Auto/ sleep mode enabled. Anticipate around 50 cents of electric cost or under 15 dollars monthly for 24x7 all-day operation.
Pricing - As we alluded to earlier, the major downside with Rabbit Air A3 SPA-1000N air purifier is the cost. Expect to pay close to $800 without accounting for any addon purchase. If you want a cheaper option with identical 6-stage filtration, Rabbit Air MinusA2 SPA-780N is your only go-to model. No other model even comes close to that. The same goes for filter replacement costs. Even though it is not exuberantly expensive at under $120, it can be a burden for those living on a tight budget. As long as you can keep up with the maintenance, minor complaints can be easily looked past.
Drawbacks - Selling price, that's it.
In short, if you want the latest, best, and most powerful air purifier Rabbit Air has to offer, look no further than the 6-stage Rabbit Air A3 SPA-1000N HEPA air purifier.

(annual filter cost ±116)
Pros
- Sleek, modern console HEPA air purifier.
- 4-stage filtration with 5-speed + Auto mode. Negative Ion Generator can be disabled.
- Low annual filter replacement cost from the long filter lifespan.
- Effective HEPA Filter and Charcoal-Based Activated Carbon Filter.
- 550 sq. ft. purifying coverage (2 APH).
- Active filter maintenance status bar with a quarterly update on filter lifespan.
- Seperate odor and particle sensor + adjustable sensitivity.
- Full access, remote control ready.
- 5 years warranty, including the BLDC motors.
Cons
- Expensive, even though many premium features do come as standard.
- Average CADR output (below 200 cfm).
- Features like Negative Ions and the timer are only accessible via remote control.
- Its bigger brother BioGS 2.0 SPA-625A offers better overall value (after discount).
Design - Designed by Industrial designer Guto Indio da Costa, the Rabbit Air BioGS 2.0 SPA-550A air purifier is nothing short of excellent from its "flow" exterior design without penalizing functionality in any way. At a console size of 16.6 x 22.2 x 9.8 inches dimension, there is plenty of room to include an air inlet and a big air outlet. It is not the biggest, but you can only use it on the ground. Circling the back, you have a remote control holder and handle that can be handy when moving Rabbit Air BioGS 2.0 air purifier for room-to-room air cleaning. Overall the build quality and fitting are tight, which helps protect against any gas bypass or leakage.

Functionality - As easy as it gets. Rabbit Air BioGS air purifier settings are mainly accessible via the remote control. It has limited physical buttons other than to turn on/ off the machine, set the fan speeds, filter reset, and sensor sensitivity. Hidden features like timer and auto mode are available only on Rabbit Air BioGS remote control. Visually, there is also a front AQI that displays current room air quality and a 6 bar filter maintenance indicator light that alerts you for a filter change. No more guessing when the filter will expire and missing the filter ordering date.
Coverage - Compared with the higher variant 625A, Rabbit Air BioGS 2.0 SPA-550A air purifiers output a weaker 42 to 147 cfm airflow delivery rate. The clean air delivery rate is also slightly under par with Dust CADR at 149 cfm, Pollen CADR at 162 cfm, and Smoke CADR at 135 cfm. That said, Rabbit Air BioGS 2.0 SPA-550A can cover a large room size of 550 square footage at 2 air changes per hour (30 minutes). Bringing up the air changes to 4 (15 minutes), it can still reach a healthy 275 square footage of room space. For day-to-day use, Rabbit Air BioGS 2.0 SPA-550A consistent airflow would still run well in a single terrace home, studio, and small apartment.
Filtration - The classic setup. Rabbit Air BioGS 2.0 SPA-550A 4-stage filtration includes a pre-filter, carbon filter, HEPA filter, and an ionizer. How it works is large pollutants will first flow in via the side and bottom inlet of the air purifier. The washable pre-filter will block as many large dust particles as possible while protecting the HEPA and carbon filter from clogging. The certified HEPA filter will effectively capture 99.97% of fine allergens like mold, pollen, bacteria, and germs as small as 0.3 microns. The activated carbon filter absorbs smoke, toxic gases, and odors, including VOCs, radon, and Formaldehyde. Lastly, the negative ion generator discharges millions of negative ions that attach and weigh down airborne particles for the air purifier to capture. The last bit is completely optional and can be turned off if you want 100% ozone-free purification.
Noise and power - Complementing Rabbit Air BioGS 2.0 silent operation is the innovative BLDC motor. It generates a subtle noise from 22.8 decibels to a mild humming of 48.6 decibels, which is perfectly liveable. You can leave Rabbit Air BioGS 2.0 SPA-550A air purifier running 24 hours a day (recommended), and it will not distract you from work or deprive you of sleep. As an Energy Star rated model, power usage is at a low 5 watts to a max of 39 watts. With Smart Display and Auto mode enabled, it will disable the Smart light when Rabbit Air BioGS is idle for more than 5 minutes. Again, you can run Rabbit Air BioGS 2.0 SPA-550A all day without worrying about a high electrical bill.
Pricing - For around 370 dollars before any discount, Rabbit Air BioGS 2.0 SPA-550A is the cheapest variant in the lineup and justifiable for doing so. While it may have a lower airflow and CADR output, all the premium features like auto mode, AQ sensors, timer, and remote remain intact. The biggest advantage of Rabbit Air SPA-550A is the affordable filter replacement cost. Enjoy the long-lasting filters (up to 3 years) that will set you back less than $60 for the complete bundled set under normal circumstances. Between the 2 Rabbit Air BioGS 2.0 air purifier variants, we prefer the 550A over 625A, given the differences are marginal. Then again, why not go all-in with the more powerful 6-stage Rabbit Air MinusA2?
Drawbacks - Very few apart from the slightly high price tag, average CADR, and reliance on the remote control. One of the best console HEPA air purifiers ever made.
In short, if you are looking for an air purifier that will do a fantastic job alleviating common household pollutants, smoke, and odors, Rabbit Air SPA-550A will give you all that and more. You will be treated with top-notch build quality, consistent performance with effective four-stage filtration, reliable customer service, and economical operating cost from the prolonged filter lifespan.

Rabbit Air MinusA2 SPA-700A Air Purifier

Rabbit Air MinusA2 SPA-700A is the cheapest and lowest variant in its lineup with little compromise. This wall frame air purifier comes with a squarish 21.4 x 20 x 7 inches size and 19.4 pounds weight, as mentioned previously. The familiarity continues with the side air inlets, top air outlet, back wall bracket, and grabbing handle. You can swap the front panels between different models to jazz up your home design. Overall, build quality is rigid that you hang it on the wall without having to worry it will fall off.
Moving to the controls. Rabbit Air MinusA2 SPA-700A glossy front control panel might not be the easiest to view when it's up high. Rest assured, every control is functional and well-placed. You have the trio sensors, 5 adjustable fan speeds, auto/ pollen mode, ion mode, and replace filter button. Auto mode adjusts the right speed based on surrounding air quality, while Auto Sleep mode activates when the room is pitch black for 3 minutes. The air quality indicator is ridiculously small when you have a large mood light at the center. The AQ light will shift from blue when the air quality is good, to purple when moderate, and red when air quality is bad. Perhaps the best feature of Rabbit Air MinusA2 SPA-700A, you can access all controls via the remote control, so you never have to climb up to make any adjustments.
Despite the subdued output, Rabbit Air MinusA2 SPA-700A has a decent 700 square footage air cleaning coverage at 2 air changes per hour. You can increase the air changes per hour to 4 or every 15 minutes at the cost of reduced 350 square footage. Ideal for an asthmatic or hypersensitive person with a compromised immune system. The airflow delivery rate is on par at 47-187 cfm output. CADR is on the lower end, with dust at 173 cfm, pollen at 171 cfm, and Smoke at 166 cfm. Not the greatest, but for most home use. Rabbit Air MinusA2 SPA-700A will run effortlessly in the bedroom, living room, basement, walk-in wardrobe, or kitchen.
Rabbit Air MinusA2 SPA-700A enhanced brushless direct current motor help keep noise level down at 22.8 decibels when running in Auto or sleep mode. It will run silently in the background, so don't worry about any noise distraction during work or a good night's sleep. Power output is between 7-47 watts, very efficient even when running on turbo speed you're in. Being an Energy Star-certified model, you will not be hit by a shocking bill at the end of the month.
What you're not getting a downgrade is Rabbit Air's wonderful 6-stage filtration. The washable pre-filter captures visible particles like dust, hair, and lint while protecting the inner filter. Next, the medium filter traps finer airborne particles that manage to pass through down to 1 micrometer. The HEPA filter traps 99.97% of microscopic particles and allergens in the air as small as 0.3 micrometers. For stubborn contaminants, you can choose from 1 of the 4 customizable filters: Germ Defense Filter (germs, bacteria, and viruses), Pet Allergy Filter (pet allergens), Toxin Absorber Filter (chemicals), and Odor Remover Filter (smelly, musty odors). For common smoke particles, the granular activated carbon filter will neutralize any unpleasant smell via chemical adsorption. Lastly, the negative ion generator will assist in pulling down airborne impurities for the air purifier to capture. Negative ions are natural and certified to be ozone-safe; you can disable the feature at any time.
On to the downsides, Rabbit Air MinusA2 SPA-700A is still fairly expensive despite being the "cheaper" version. It is also rather heavy and not compatible with all types of walls. The lack of WiFi support might not tickle everyone's fancy as they have to rely on the conventional remote control to work. Maintenance cost is not the lowest, but that's understandable, given that many filters need replacing. If you can live with all that, Rabbit Air MinusA2 SPA-700A will not disappoint you in other aspects.
Rabbit Air BioGS 2.0 SPA-625A Air Purifier

The higher range version with better airflow area and clean air delivery rate. The modern exterior is refreshing compared with other conventional air purifiers on the market. Air is drawn in from the bottom and distributed via the large air outlet. You will find a standard remote holder and a grabbing handle to ease transportation at the back. The build quality is solid, with no leakage or ozone byproducts detected. Best of all, the extra power did not add thickness to the air purifier as it is still measured at 16.6 inches in width, 22.2 inches in height, 9.8 inches in depth, and 16.8 pounds in weight.
Rabbit Air BioGS 2.0 SPA-625A air purifier might not seem highly functional at first glance, it has many hidden features behind it. At the front, you have an AQI that displays real-time updates and a 6 bar filter maintenance indicator light that will alert you for the routine replacement. The Smart display light will also automatically turn off the display when Rabbit Air BioGS 2.0 is idle for more than 5 minutes. You can adjust 5 fan speeds, set the 3 pre-set timers, and enable the auto mode that only uses a higher speed when the indoor air quality drops. The only thing missing is the auto-sleep mode found in MinusA2.
Rabbit Air BioGS 2.0 SPA-625A air purifier delivers a modest 42 to a high 167 cfm airflow delivery rate. Not the best, but it will have no problem cleaning the air in the room. CADR reflects better with Dust CADR at 165 cfm, Pollen CADR at 189 cfm, and Smoke CADR at 152 cfm. As the model name suggests, Rabbit Air BioGS 2.0 SPA-625A can cover 625 square footage at 2 air changes per hour or every 30 minutes. For allergenic persons, you can increase to 4 air changes per hour or every 15 minutes with a reduced 313 square footage air cleaning coverage. Safe to say, Rabbit Air BioGS 2.0 will perform well in medium to large rooms, including the bedroom, living room, playroom, and kitchen.
Rabbit Air BioGS 2.0 SPA-625A new and improved BLDC motor help keep the noise level down from 22.8 decibels to a light conversation of 50.4 decibels. In real-life scenarios, there will be mild humming fan noise when running at high speed but still perfectly bearable for work and sleep. Energy Star certified Rabbit Air BioGS 2.0 SPA-625A consumes a low 5 to 39 watts of electricity. Leave it on Auto mode, and you can run it all day without burdening your monthly utility bill.
Rabbit Air BioGS 2.0 SPA-625A uses the familiar 4-stage filtration in most air purifiers. Starting with the pre-filter that traps large particles like dust, hair, and fiber from passing through. The pre-filter is washable, so you can clean it and reuse it to extend the other filter's life. The shielded HEPA filter capture 99.97% of fine allergens as small as 0.3 microns. The activated carbon filter neutralizes smoke particles from cigarettes, pet odor, food, and radon to outdoor pollutants like carbon monoxide, haze, and wood burning. The negative ion generator produces millions of negative ions that attach and weigh down airborne pollutants to capture. It is natural and safe but completely optional. You can turn it off at any point during air purification.
For under 400 dollars, Rabbit Air BioGS 2.0 SPA-625A is not the most powerful air purifier in its class, far from it. However, it is quiet, efficient and can provide the clean air that you and your family deserve. All the good stuff is also included, so usability is up there with the best. Conversely, the under 50 annual filter cost can be the sole reason you opt for Rabbit Air BioGS 2.0 SPA-625A. With a long filter life of up to 36 months, there is little maintenance needed as long as the indoor air quality permits and the air purifier is kept in good condition. The only downside for BioGS is the negative ion generator and timer are only accessible via the remote control.
What To Look For In Rabbit Air Purifiers?
While all Rabbit air purifiers can improve indoor air quality, each model caters to a different group of users with specific needs. With a wide array of features, understanding and identifying the right air purifier can be challenging, especially for a first-time buyer. To ease you with that, here are the things you need to look into when buying a Rabbit Air model.
- Dimension, weight, and design - There are 2 types of air cleaners in the Rabbit Air lineup: A wall-mounted air purifier and a console air purifier. Both have pros and cons, but if your choices involve space-saving, the answer is clear.
- Pricing - All Rabbit Air purifiers are in the higher price segment. The cheapest BioGS will set you back around 400 dollars, while the premium A3 will be close to 750 dollars price point. Rabbit Air rarely discounts, so the best time to get one is during seasonal clearance or special events such as boxing day or black Friday.
- Filter cost - The fewer and smaller the filter is, the cheaper it is to replace. Rabbit Air purifiers have low to moderate recurring filter costs. Naturally, the fewer filter BioGS will be the cheapest to maintain, followed by MinusA2, and the newer A3.
- Room size - The more expensive the air purifier is, the wider air cleaning coverage it can deliver. Rabbit Air purifiers can cover large room sizes in both 2 and 4 air changes per hour. You can refer to the model name to get a rough figure of what the air purifier is capable of covering.
- Clean air delivery rate (CADR) - A metric developed by AHAM to measure the air purifier performance. The higher the ratings, the quicker airborne impurities will be removed. Most Rabbit Airs are not known for their CADR so if this is what you are looking for, consider other alternatives.
- Air filtration - The more filtration there is, the more airborne particles will be removed. All Rabbit Air purifiers come with a 99.97% efficiency True HEPA filter and an activated carbon filter. BioGS comes standard with 4-stage, while MinusA2 and A3 come with 6-stage filtration.
- Negative ion generator - All Rabbit air purifiers come with a Negative Ion Generator. A filterless technology that can be enabled or disabled at any point of the purification.
- Noise and power output - Rabbit Air purifiers are silent and energy-efficient when running in lower speed or sleep mode. Go with MinusA2 if you need the lowest noise output air cleaner.
- Supporting features - Rabbit Air does not skim out on features. All models come standard with Auto mode, Sleep mode, air quality indicator, and filter change indicator. MinusA2 and A3 gain additional light sensors, aesthetic mood lights, and swappable front panels.
- Warranty and after-service - All Rabbit Air purifiers come with a long 5 years warranty inclusive of motor and electronic parts. There is also attentive U.S. based customer support (email/ phone) for inquiries, warranty claims, and troubleshooting.
